An exceptional antique Camel Hair Hamadan rug dating to circa 1880, distinguished by its elongated format, warm natural tones, and remarkably detailed geometric design.
The central field features a dense repeating pattern in rust, terracotta, deep brown, ivory, and soft blue, framed by multiple finely detailed geometric borders. A wide camel-brown outer field provides a beautiful contrast, accented with individually spaced tribal motifs that give the composition a distinctive character.
