An elegant vintage Kerman style runner dating to circa 1940, distinguished by its exceptionally long proportions and remarkably intricate floral composition. The design unfolds through a series of finely detailed medallions surrounded by delicate floral vines and an elaborate multi-layered border.
A soft ivory ground creates a luminous foundation for a sophisticated palette of dusty rose, soft blue, sage green, burgundy, navy, and subtle neutral tones. The dense floral ornamentation and graceful symmetry give the rug a refined, almost jewel-like quality, while its age lends the piece authentic vintage character.
At over 20 feet long, this runner is particularly well suited for a grand hallway, gallery, extended entryway, or other architectural space requiring an unusually long decorative textile. Its elegant proportions and intricate detailing make it a distinctive statement piece for both traditional and collected interiors.
